Initial Expectations: Wildlife has been doing a decent job with their raincoater features, so I’m curious to see what they can do with a mainstream style feature.
Initial Reaction: It’s okay, but nothing too special.
Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for something decent with some people they might not have seen before
Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for something with a plot or nastier sex
Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced. The video has a few blemishes here and there, but is also pretty good. There’s a few soft spots and a bit of lighting that leaves a bit to be desired, but that’s about it. There are a lot more problems due to the camera work, but the transfer itself is pretty good.
Music: The music ranges from pretty typical to pretty cheesy in style, and the cheesier it gets, the louder it gets. Even the typical stuff doesn’t seem to fit the scenes that well.
Menus: The menus are pretty typical. There’s a little clip of the movie included with the main menu, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a scene number.
The Feature: Mirror Image revolves around escorts. Like most other escort movies out there, there isn’t much to the plot other than the escorts going to meet their clients here and there.
Aria starts things off crawling up to Mistress Darla Crane to lick her boots as well as her snatch. They’re joined by Nick Manning, who teams up with Aria to warm up Mistress Darla before they return the favor for him. After the girls finish demonstrating their oral skills, Nick pounds Darla’s pussy in a couple positions and then moves into Aria’s ass. The girls finish things up sharing a facial at the end. It’s a good scene, but Nick put me off more than a little with his misogynistic shouting along the lines of “take my cock up your asshole you bitch!”. The only thing that saved it was Aria’s obvious enjoyment of the entire scene and the great energy and chemistry, which made me come close to forgetting about Nick by the end of the feature.
At the same time, hot brunette and Wildlife contract girl Shay Sights opens herself up for Mickey G., who’s more than happy to dive between her legs. She plays with her ass a little as he licks her and then takes him all the way into her throat with some aggressive oral action. They move on through a few common positions before Shay takes Mickey’s ball blast on her big boobies. It’s an okay scene that’s held back a lot by the camera work. The majority of the shots in this portion of the scene are close-ups, and many of the distance shots are obstructed. Mickey and Shay seemed to have good chemistry through the warmups, but I really can’t be sure as to how much they enjoyed fucking due to the camera work. I think this scene and the scene between Darla, Nick, and Aria being spliced together also brought down the heat in both scenes.
Shay Sights takes on Cheyne Collins for the next scene. She’s turned off by him as a person, but since it’s her job, she acts interested whenever he’s looking at her. They exchange oral favors, with Shay showing some great cocksucking talent once again, before working through spooning, cowgirl, and mish. Once again there’s way too many close-up shots for my taste, and the camera seems to go to either the close-up of where the action is or a facial close-up. It’s rare to even see Shay’s reaction at the same time as you see her actually getting fucked. At least her facial is well captured, which gives the scene a good ending. There’s some nice chemistry and energy again, which at least helps the scene end up being pretty average.
Cute small breasted bleached blonde Julianna Kincaid takes on Rafe, who looks like he’s been through the Tom Byron School of Scuzzy Looks correspondence course, in the next scene for a little make-up sex. He starts out energetically playing and eating her pussy before removing her bra while she sucks his cock. They work through a few common positions with Julianna showing some great potential and taking Rafe’s joy juice right in her yapper. It’s nothing special, but has some decent energy and chemistry. After seeing her in a couple scenes now, I think I’m going to need to see more of Julianna.
Raven haired Lezley Zen gets Nick Manning as her birthday present in the final scene. Nick energetically eats and fingers her gash before she sucks and strokes his cock with the same enthusiasm. After they energetically bump uglies for a while, Lezley calls hubby Adam Wood over so she can suck him while Nick nails her from behind. It doesn’t take long for Adam to pop on Lezley’s tits, and soon after Nick sprays her from her chest up to hair. It’s a pretty hot scene, and the addition of Adam Wood, with his slight pot belly and near bald head, is great since he has such a realistic look, unlike most male talent.
Mirror Image is a pretty good porno, but nothing too outstanding. Although it looks like everybody’s having a lot of fun in the sex scenes, they still suffer a bit due to the camera work in many of the scenes. Also, although the title and cover look like this is more of a feature style movie, there’s barely anything holding it together and a few short minutes of non-sex shots. I was expecting a little more of a feature-style movie, so I was a little let down despite having a couple very good sex scenes. Nick and Shay both show a lot of talent here, as well as why they were good choices as some of Wildlife’s contract performers. Aria and Daria Crane also do a great job, and help turn the opening scene into one of the hottest of the feature. Overall, Mirror Image is a good feature, but nothing really special.
Extras: As usual, there’s internet and company information. A DVD without either of those would be like a Democrat who thinks that private business is a good thing. There’s also a two and a half minute photo gallery with about eight seconds per very nice looking snapshot. As usual with Bobby Rinaldi’s features, there’s also a ten minute behind the scenes featurette. It does a good job of capturing what’s going on around the set, from the scenes and photo gallery being shot to the cast screwing around on the set. The only thing missing is a bit of Julianna Kincaid and Rafe, who I would have liked to have seen a bit more of. It’s still a nice behind the scenes featurette, and something I’m really glad Bobby Rinaldi is including on his DVDs.

Overall: Currently, most Wildlife DVDs can be found online for between $10 and $25, with several stores offering them for under $15. This is a pretty fair price for what you get here. The sex is pretty good, but the plot is next to non-existent. The transfer’s pretty good and there’s another nice behind the scenes featurette.
Note to Wildlife: It’s great to see you giving your transfer a bit more attention and the behind the scenes featurette is a great extra. A little more care for your covers would be nice, as it’s not really clear if this is a feature style movie or a raincoater style movie.
